[Wanted] Terrain/Hi Low range switch pack

Hi,

Does any body have the centre console switch pack available for a D3?

My low range won't engage and I'd like to swap out the switches.

Regards

Range switch

I’m having the same problem. My switch isn’t doing anything. No change of lights, no dash info. Just manually toggles but is dead. Did you get anywhere with this? Did than you just buy one off eBay and slot it in? Or does it need mapping etc?

Thanks for your reply! I did end up sorting this though... turns out it had been filled up with a sticky drink in a previous life! Took the switch panel apart by separating the mechanical lever housing from the circuit board. Cleaned the circuit board with contact cleaner and a light abrade on the contacts, washed the levers in soapy water, dried it and re-assembled. Bobs your uncle, Fanny’s your aunt!

One little nicety I did in the process was clean out all the old silicone grease from the rotary switch and reapplied. It gave the toggle a much more positive feel.

Hope this helps someone! As before I did this, I was ready to start booking the disco in for a fault find with a possible transmission fault
