Park brake & gearbox... Are they related?

Hello All,

My 2.7 tdv6 RRS has been having its gearbox refurbished, and the chap that is doing it has just put it all back together (new mechatronic), valves, clutches...).

The mechatronic still needs programming, but it is now showing a "park brake fault" on the dashboard.

I have tested the park brake, and it seems to be working.

Could this error simply be because the mechatronic is not yet talking to the ecu properly?

Has anyone had a replacement mechatronic before?

Thanks for your comments.

Nick

Not read faults because the RRS is not with me.

But...

Just heard from LR. They have reprogrammed the box, and park brake error is gone, so problem seems solved.
