[For Sale] 4 x BNIB Motorola XT420 Walkie Talkies
Hi Chaps
I have 4 BNIB Motorola XT 420 walkie talkies that I bought last year but have never used them - only got one out the box to put together for these pics and to check everything was there in each box.
Was planning a trip but have since sold the Disco that I intended to use
Anyway, these are the complete units that come with the hand set, battery, holder with swivel belt clip and charger with 2 and 3 pin adaptors. Also in each box is a full set of instructions and booklets.
They cost me just under £500 all in and are all still wrapped up - even put the one I got out back in the box correctly.
I did a great deal of research prior to buying these and they are probably the best walkie talkies on the market that don't require a license.
Bit of blurb here;
The XT420 is a license free two way radio from Motorola. Built to IP55 standards the XT420 is rugged and reliable, with a limited Ingres of dust whilst also being protected against jets of water from all angles. Meeting Military Standards (MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G) the radio is built to withstand a variety of working conditions, this going hand in hand with the fact that the radio is water-resistant allowing it to continue working in even some of the worst working environments.
A channel capacity of 16 allows for sufficient use for a small team, whilst also offering customised channel announcements to allow the user to be notified of the channel they are switching to. VOX Voice Activation capabilities means that the radio can be used hands free, either solely through the radio or also with a compatible accessory such as an earpiece that supports voice activation.
The Motorola XT420 is compatible with the previous XTNi model, meaning that should you already have a fleet of the radios then it will work right out of the box with them. Offering crisp audio via a 1500mW speaker, quality of reception remains constant in high noise or harsh conditioning working environments. The XT420 comes as standard with a Li-Ion battery and a belt holster, the charger is an additional purchase should the user need it.
Pics below and looking for £375 ono posted to UK mainland - please beware, when looking on the internet these are sold without chargers and or other add-on's and then there is the dreaded VAT

They also have 16 pre-programmed/numbered channels and can be programmed for more so I think the blurb I copied maybe wanting somewhat "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.
