From what I know, and I’m sure someone will correct if wrong.
It will depend if your cars are Euro 3 or 4.
As there is a small difference between them for injectors.
Not sure if there would be any long term issues with fitting the “wrong” injectors in.
As A.J.M has said there are different ones for E3 or E4 but they will still work ok, just the E4's run at higher pressure, with the E4 pumps so if your fitting to an E3 engine no problem, but the other way around they might just wear out quicker..

04-07 age D3s are Euro 3 injectors.
07-09 age D3s are Euro 4 injectors.
Your auto, being a 05 is Euro 3.
So what age is your manual and that’s likely your answer.

Ok so I’ve been researching this as I’ve got my old disco 3 with all tested and passed injectors but the last 2 letters were he only difference and that the old motor is a manual. I called a friend of a friend and he spoke to Siemens about the reference numbers and it’s came back that they’re both exactly the same and the code reflects the newer model to the old one
This one above is from the car im driving now with noisy injectors
These are in my old disco 3 all passed and sound great
Just thought I’d let you guys know if you already didn’tMetal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
