Annoyed of Kent
Feeling quite annoyed with myself and a bit frustrated.
Son in law bought a Honda Civic a month ago on my say so. Was cheap at £800 but has 208,000 on it. Drives superb. Only big issue was leaking injector copper washer. No biggy I thought!
Cut to spending 5 hours today to not being able to get a single injector out and admitting defeat and putting it into a local specialist for them to do. Minimum charge is £200 and thats just labour and I forgot to take the copper washers I had already brought. Daughter has already moaned at me about it. She did seem to calm down when I told her I'm paying for it though
I hate being defeated by anything mechanical. 2006 TdV6 HSE.

I know the feeling, had to put one of our MGs into the garage, after failing to track down the cause of poor idling and over revving on the plus side he cant solve it either.==================================

I know the feeling also. This month is the first time I've ever had to take a vehicle to a garage (apart from MOTs). Mind you, it was for a full TDV6 recon Kev

Finally got the son in laws car back today. Two injectors refurbed, one exchanged and fourth one ok. Had a snapped clamp bolt on one of them which needed drilling then helicoil fitting. They are stretch bolts with a T30 torx head. Total bill was just over £1200. OUCH!!!!2006 TdV6 HSE.
