What's the issue cars catch fire every day Tesla less so
Admittedly they do it in style but at least you know
1- its a total loss
2- never leave personal effects in it

If you take a look, Tesla's do catch fire and with very hot fierce fires due to the Lithium batteries. The guidance says they need huge amounts of water to put a fully developed fire out (standard car can be done with a single tank of water 400 gallons but at the most 800) However Tesla take thousands of gallons and are recomeded to be cooled for several hours afterwards. They then state that the car should be taken to a secure compound and monitored for a period of time as they have a tendancy to re-ignite again.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
