Speaker Problem?
I've started getting a loud squelching noise form the back of my disco. It's loud and distracting/annoying when driving but doesn't seem to affect the audio from the radio or the proximity sensors. The noise continues even with the ignition off and the key removed.
I've traced it to a speaker housed in the drop down boot lid (near side) - what is this speaker for and can I safely disconnect it to stop the din?

Op - original post / the person who starts the thread.
The tweeters on the front doors have the Harmon Kardon Logic 7 logo, if you have it fitted. Richard

Thank you Richard
The front door speakers don't have any logo on them at all. I've also had a peek at the speaker itself and from it's shape I don't think it's an HK7
