[For Sale] Merlin Safari Trailer
An original Douglas Motors off road Safari Trailer, built to the highest specification on a heavy galvanised chassis, brakes and lockable Towbar. Mounted on top is a aluminium roof rack, it’ll come with 2x Jerry cans and it has 12v electrics via 2x cigarette lighters and has 230v plumbed in for posh camp spots with 2x uk style plug socket. The lid and front box all have separate locks on them and al lights have been upgraded to LED. The trailer is finished in Aintree Green. Wheels are Alloy Boosts and tyres are Cooper Winter AT. The trailer is rated to carry 1500KG so should be more than enough for even the toughest trips.
I bought this trailer off Ken about 5 years ago, who completed a ground-up rebuild and respray. I’ve used it once 😳 on a winter trip to the Arctic circle and it’s been dry stored in the garage ever since. I was going to chop it up and convert to a motorcycle carrier / trailer using the chassis as a base, but I thought that would be..well the wrong thing to do.

Realistically, I'm after £2850.
The trailer is currently located in Cheshire.....and I am not (just moved to Kent with work) - hence the photos taken from Ken’s build thread.[/img]Ian

Not surprised Ian, very nice trailer and a tempting price I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
