Deliberate? b :censored: ds .

watched the CCTV a couple of times now. Looks like a clear attempt at killing a cyclist.

Are they avoiding something on their side of the road and don't see the cyclist ? They are obviously speeding but im not sure its deliberate.

They just make the best of everything they have.

are there two people in the car ? rear seats are black front nearside has something white on it ... t-shirt ?

if they were on phone ... they swerved back very acurately to avoid cars and bollards. couldn't detect change in speed after collision either.

Driver does appear to hit the brakes at point of collision, then straightens car up onto correct side of the road and hits the accelerator.

As slight difference in speed and the cyclist might have ended-up on the back seat. Now that I'd like to see.

In my view, the passenger is just as guilty in not coming forward. "Joint enterprise"?

The CCTV on my house is there because I can see who is at the door and because there was a rash of people nicking outboard engines. What little coverage there is of the road outside, it is registered on a system maintained by the Police that gives them a list of areas covered by CCTV and by which cameras. It shouldn't be compulsory, but I think it's a really good idea. I'm sure the Met did a door-to-door appeal but a couple of different angles of that incident would really help.

With the right equipment and know how, its not difficult to make out the registration plate of the vehicle.

Can't be very many of those Pimp mobiles running about either, can there?

You’re only getting half a story. There was a dark car in front of the cyclist, they may have forced to opposing traffic to swerve, in fact out of shot, anything could have happened.

The only thing you can say for sure is the car that hit the cyclist was travelling at speed and was on the wrong side of the road for some reason and didn’t stop. I dare say CCTV images from other cameras exists.
