Dual battery in my D4 2011
Afternoon all
Just after some advice I am looking at fitting a second battery in my D4 I have the second compartment under the bonnet how ever there is some of the electric start bits there has anyone moved these to make way for a battery ??

I put the extra leisure battery in the rear left hand compartment in the boot...easier than moving all the gubbins and small aux battery in the front

What did you do with wiring under cards et or external and in behind the light cluster ??

I went the external route, ran the +ve through some Kopex flexible conduit in/around/over the chassis, neatly tywrapped in place
Thought it would be simpler than removing loads of trim/breaking clips etc. The splitcharge relay is in the same compartment as is the fuse panel for the switches/usb sockets/additional lights etc
Only took a few hours once I was brave enough to remove the rear quarter panel !

Thanks so do you have any tips on removing the rear panel before I have a stab at fitting mine ?
