I’d be the disco that got stuck.
That’s some ballsy driving by those who attempted it.
What’s the wading depth on a stock D3?Disco 3 - base player

The Merc was floating well. No leaks in that!

Sometimes, just because you can doesn't mean you should. There's not much to be gained by driving through that if you don't have to. Sure, LR's bigger vehicles can do it but there's no way of knowing what's under the water, that you can't see. Manhole covers are lifted by flood water - drop a wheel in an open manhole and you'd look silly pretty quickly.
The guys in the Fiesta obviously weren't too worried about the car. I wonder if it was theirs. Looked like it was sat at the back of the scene with the bonnet up at one point. Also, it was very low on its springs. I wonder if it had taken in water.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"

Made me cringe just watching that
I erm , well , hydrolocked one of my old series landies years ago so in the disco the deepest I would go is up to the sills , however as also mentioned there’s so many dangers of not knowing what’s underneath the water
In the disco have turned round and found another route after seeing how deep it is on other vehicles attempting to wade across , just won’t risk it anymore
Plus don’t think it takes too much water to be able to lift a vehicle

Its not actually that deep both the disco and the terrano can easily cope with that we run a terrano for 8 years with no issues best car weve ever had both drivers did it right.... steady pace good bow wave
Saying that not sure i would in our new to us D3 would find a route arouns or just go home

I will never complain about the M60 again The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.
