Hopefully, National Lottery will give the £4M to the rightful owner of the bank card used to buy the ticket.

and their 'supporting evidence' is..........

“My clients consider Camelot are behaving in a culturally racist way by subjecting them to a level of scrutiny, checking and vetting, they would not otherwise do if the person who claimed the prize spoke in a posh accent."

Hope the QC got his fee up-front.

Actually.... hope he didn't and gets hee-haw for this.

It'll be interesting to see whether the principle of sponsiones ludicrae (courts not hearing cases about gambling as they consider them too trivial) still holds good. Which would be very funny.

Makes you wonder where they got the money for a 4 day bender in London, and can afford to hire a barrister.and it should easy for them to prove they had the bank legitimately.

And que the sob story

"My clients have been very open and upfront about their upbringing in care homes and hard struggles in life, including previous substance misuse problems, which both have tried really hard to overcome.

Overcome, maybe, but with other people’s bank cards.

Give them £4m and they'll exterminate themselves in short order.

Not the first to suggest I should run for parliament.

I once ran for a bus outside parliament, and that was quite enough Whistle
