Snow chains for 235/70-17
Hi everyone,
Just got my new '08 Disco and it's fantastic! My '01 Freebie got totally packed with three kids + stuff, this monster is joy to use
I have read some previous threads discussing snow chains, and I wonder whether the 235/70-17 also need spacers like the wider tires do. Use will be light and occasional, chains will go to the front.
Also, has anyone had any experience with Spikes-Spider chains, is their ease of use and/or lack of need for spacers worth the cost?

I think that a medium set of chains on tyres that size will be fine without spacers on the front.
These should be ok based on the manufacturer website and this UK stockist.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
