Done today. I might have to actually give a little on my "dealer comments".
They are now to replace the steering wheel (noted problem before at the dealership)
Replace steering ball joints. (Some excess wear)
Replace the plastic radiator tank
Replace a grommet on the passenger side near the glove box that allows a leak onto the floor. (known problem and not my tropical roof).
They did charge $24.00 to change two blown globes on the brake lights. 2006 HSE TDV6 Bonatti Grey, ECB bull bar, tropical roof, LG Next G car kit, Tom Tom GPS, UHF, Mitchell Bros tow bar, Kimberley Kamper Limited Edition camper trailer and 23 foot Haines Signature half cabin (Towed separately!)

Hi PBob,
How much did the normal service cost without the extras? Where did you get it serviced at, as I believe there is considerable differences in service costs at each Dealership.?
It surprises me that all that work was needed at only 60,000kms!
How old is your Disco?
Regards,
Dennis.

Red Disco,
Assume you mean the brake lights. Yes the two at the back but not the top one as it still works. They (L/R)charge after 12 months on electrical globes.
Hoperoo,
Dubbo dealer, service cost $277.27 + loan (hire) car 1/2 day at $40.00. They call it a courtesy car - I don't.
My HSE was new in May 2006, being 20 months old. It does some gravel road driving, (including some outback stuff) but not proper off road. 2006 HSE TDV6 Bonatti Grey, ECB bull bar, tropical roof, LG Next G car kit, Tom Tom GPS, UHF, Mitchell Bros tow bar, Kimberley Kamper Limited Edition camper trailer and 23 foot Haines Signature half cabin (Towed separately!)

Steep for a couple of globes that could be bought at Supercheap or KMart.
I might buy a couple tomorrow as a back up. Did you think I would leave you crying,

Alto give a free loan car. But your service price seems reasonable. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
