Rear speakers always making hissing/static noise |
|
Hi All
I noticed yesterday that even when everything is turned off in my car the rear door speakers emit a low level hissing/static noise continually! Is this normal? I expect not but just thought would check.
I jumped in the car lay on the back seat and locked everything up by the remote and it continued on! Didn’t stay their long so it may be there is a timer after being unlocked that the car keeps everything active for? Or it could also be something (maybe the amp) is knackered? My cat is an early D4 GS with the HK system.
Cheers

Hi Nick
Yes turns out it’s just that the stereo stays powered up for a few minutes after the door has been opened. If you turn the car off , open and close the door and then just sit there a short while it should then power down and stop hissing!
Hope it helps
Cheers
