Bogwert's D4
So the question you have to ask yourself... can you have too many green ovals in your life?
Current answer... NOPE!
After (nearly) 3 blissful (ish) years of owning our TD5 Defender, a small question kept cropping up in my mind: 'What about a Disco? ... but I can't replace the Defender?!'
'what about both..? '
Well this question kept getting louder and louder!
So, as anyone would do, I started looking... and looking... googled specs... and then made a spreadsheet... and kept looking... then might have viewed a couple here and there.. then updated the budget spreadsheet... and test drove a few... UNTIL, all the numbers and specs landed in the right place!
TA DAAAA! D4!

I FREAKIN' LOVE IT!
First thing, first, once the bank account has recovered. Get it into MMP Dundee for a once over and a diagnostics check... make sure I haven't brought an expensive tin can! Chris

Lovely looking car! Do you drive round with the window half down and the revs right up to give it that Defender feel ? should also add an old tin can full of nuts and bolts behind the drivers seat for the full effect ! I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

To be fair, I did drive home the other day with the window down and sunroof open! Bring back the defender vibes!
Was missing the tin can, but that might be a good shout, wonder if spotify has a loud unknown rattle somewhere behind the bell housing playlist?
And you don't have to shout to have a conversation... weird!
Did take the Defender out last night (has the bike rack's of the roof) still love it!Chris
I've noticed a few times recently the internal locks all lock randomly. I've turn 'drive-away locking' off to make sure it wasn't connected to the issue. Alarm isn't armed - not touched the key (single or double lock).
It's happened when:
- I've parked up and turned the engine off, but not opened the drivers door (i.e. gotten out).
- Parked - engine off, opened and closed a few doors to get things out. Closed the boot, tried to get into the drivers door and all doors and tailgate locked.
- Same as above, but the last door was the driver's side passenger.
- Driving along at 70mph about 40 mins into a journey - all the doors move to lock.
Luckily all times (bar one) I've had the key in my pocket and been able to unlock it with the key.

If you have two keys for the car, try swapping them to see if you have a faulty one causing the problem.Gone 2016 Landmark D4

Aye, it came with 3 actually!
I'll change the key and see if that makes any difference! Chris
