E-mails at work stating 'X' is now living as a man/woman and would like to be referred to as 'Y' don't even raise an eyebrow now. Letters of a similar theme are sent home from school but include threats of isolation for 'dead-naming'. One girl has taken the living-as-a-man thing a bit too far, IMHO: she smokes a pipe and wears a monocle.
After a year on testosterone therapy, women can actually use a thermostat and stack a dishwasher efficiently.
