The problem is it's only 7 amps output.
OK if the battery is fully charged before you start
It's good for a battery charger, but will struggle keeping up with the draw with the ignition & glow plugs etc.
When I'm updating software I usually need over 20 amps.
I use a 50 amp battery supply, which is usually adequate for most jobs.

MXS25 is the bare minimum for flashing, IMO

We use a 100A PSU for any programming or module reflashing
