Noticed an increase in smoke on start up, is there anything to investigate or is this standard practice? I thought about split hoses but all look well and there’s no smoke under acceleration, would blanking the egrs off have any effect?

On every start up? Even when warm? Or just the first cold start?

Our MY2010 was exactly the same, and did it from us getting it at 2.5 years old up to selling it 6 years later. It only did it on the first start up of the day and had had the turbo drain mod done etc., etc. It never used a drop of oil between services.
Ours didn’t have the DPF (Euro 4).
I would say that it’s normal.
