Does me going through Mongolia mid Oct count as an invasion?
probably does, DSL. you at least keep your "rape and pillaging" to fast-food outlets

My body is a temple so no fast food outlet pillaging for me, been getting back into shape after the excesses of last jolly. Any other “invasion activities” will depend on how long the train stops at the station and whether I want to risk missing it.

The map was wrong when it first came out several years ago, and it's still wrong now. We didn't "invade" a good chunk of those at all. We might have been at war with them, or at war with some other European power that occupied them, or gone in to the them to help an ally etc., but "invade" in the usually accepted sense of landing on the beaches, "raping and pillaging" your way across the country with a view to taking over? Nope.
Be interesting to know how Britain invaded itself... Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

English invaded Scotland, Scotland invaded England, Wales wasn’t forgotten in the fun either, plus N Ireland was/is an occupied state according to some. So basically, yes.

But Britain didn't invade itself. Internal conflicts are not the same as self-invasion.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

I wonder if the invasion of Norway was the Battle of Narvik, when those nasty (at the time) Germans were in residence before they became all peace loving? Or did we invade coz we nicked the Viking longboats that had invaded here and the wind was in the right direction?
