Breakfast of champions
I have a friend who is “gluten intolerant”. No, not a celiac, just fussy, so every time she comes round to eat, I have to modify everything around what she will eat. She invited us round to eat last night and had made three brilliant curries and lots of other stuff to go with. However, I had jokingly said that I was on a special diet and could only eat oysters and caviar. So I got a tin of smoked oysters and a tin of cods roe.
Joke was on her though, I love cods roe and had crispy bacon with the roe fried in the fat from the smoky bacon with some delicious French bread this morning.
Anyone got an idea of what to do with a tin of smoked oysters? I love them fresh, but haven’t use tinned ones before. Only thing I can think of is chuck them in a stew.
Putting them in the bin is not an option.There are two rules for success,
1. Never tell everything you know.
