I changed all oils and amazed how smooth is runs.had 2 trips from home to Fort William inside a week single journey is 130mld approximately 450mls total. However as weather Sunday was horrendous it's first time I used the side lights for a long time but I noticed when activating the interior lights to go on when The doors are opened there are couple of bulbs flicker(overhead and both footwell bulbs) I put leds from ebay . Now strange part, car is idling side lights on, switch ignition key to off and remove ignition key, engine ticks over as normal but when switching off sidelights engine wil stop. Read codes and get side light relay, tailgate opening switch intermittent, brake light switch faulty, brake light bulbs and also says transponder. After driving it tonight I read codes again and now get side light relay, tailgate opening switch, brake light switch faulty and brake bulbs. No transponder. Have new brake light switch, and second generation full set LED bulbs, ordered side light relay . I'll fit heavy duty brake light bulbs. New interior light LEDs . Probably brake light bulbs and brake switch will
be cure maybe not.! Tailgate opening switch not that old but new one on way! Any comments would be appreciated . Thank you JBD

well lets hope the brake light switch / bulb fixed it!
because the side light relay is in the CJB and is about £400 ? + programming. Something of that order anyway

Thanks for reply, yes fingers crossed see what happens, something intermittent as our today with many starts/stops and working as normal, was using lights in all combinations but couldn't get it to play up? However I don't except it won't return. Looks like dig deep or more time soon? I'll keep all posted?

Forgot to ask Pete K, I didn't have any of this until i replaced side light bulbs for LED items. I'll revert back to standard type bulbs back and front.

Update to the problem. Didn't need to go any further than the brake light bulbs. Bulbs each side were black, one bulb the glass was loose, it was made in Far East, other bulb was cheap type. Both replaced codes read and all ok.
