C1 Oil - 5L for £12.21 or 20 L for £43.04 (Smith & Allan)

I use Smith and Allan for most of my fluids as they are well known in enthusiast communities for producing quality fluids from Shell base oils due to being one of official Shell UK distributors. I know they have been working on their C1 oil formulation since last year and I notice they have now launched it on their website.

I appreciate some prefer to stick with the big brand names but for those that believe 'if it meets the spec, it meets the spec' then this is the best value source of C1 oil as far as I am aware.

Hope this helps Thumbs Up

Nope, but it did spin a bearing on Castrol C1.

Really?! That does surprise me Mike. We all know that they advertise/recommend Castrol purely as part of a commercial relationship JLR have with them, but I would have thought that the first fill would have been part of that agreement also. What do they use out of interest?

Fuchs every time for me as per disco mikey.. We run Fuchs on work on our marine engines... Twin caterpillar c18 850bhp...very hard working and highly strung and the oil always holds up to scrutiny during oil sample tests.... Pity the engines aren't as reliable! 🙈 🤣
