Radio not working Disco 3 2007 |
|
Hi All,
Just got my Disco 3 2007, radio wasn't working initially, I read up on some of the feedback here and decided to replace the radio fuse from the fuse compartment inside, and the radio started to work
However after having taking the car in for service (just a general and basic service) the radio stopped working when I picked up the car.
They must have disconnected the battery to test it, but whatever they did, the radio has stopped working again.
I have tried replacing the fuse again and it still doesn't work.
Any ideas or feedback would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Gab

Have a look at Technical Bulletin LA-415-003 (Google search will find it on another forum). My radio packed up and was eventually traced to a corrupt configuration file.

Try a hard reset. Do a search in the wiki. Solves most gremlins electrically. James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

Do you have any display on the radio? i.e. can you see the clock (which will be "stopped")?
If you can then with power going to the radio (ignition in position 2) take the fuse out, count to 5 and put it back in. The radio should come back on.
Happens with mine pretty much every time it's serviced.

It's fuse 53 in the cabin fuse box behind the upper glove compartment.
