Hi,
We've been to lovely cottages through Toad Hall Cottages, they are very reasonable and couldn't fault

There's a cottage down my way, but on the Mull of Galloway that a few on here have used.
It's only accessible by a 4x4 that takes a single track down the rocks to the cove where it sits with its sister holiday cottage.
No doubt someone will be along shortly to give more detail (only just moved to the region so don't know the area in full yet.)

Yes, that's the one. Thumbs Up
Though nothing about not being dog friendly on the website, but certainly worth checking (probably in the small print). Rolling Eyes

We've had to dismiss that one before for not accepting dogs Sad

We've recently stayed with these people and were very happy with the experience, although we stayed in one of their smaller places. Very tempted to stay here soon though, with 8 beds and it's dog friendly too Thumbs Up

We stayed there last Feb and our 2 dogs were very welcome Thumbs Up

The main 6+ sleeping cottage allows dogs, the small other 1 bed croft won't allow dogs.

See my post, been there twice in total Thumbs Up

Have a look at Arran. Loads of DF cottages their.

Or, if you want something really special have a look at this! Maybe a bit pricey but 100% get away from it all experience.

Stayed in a great cottage in Corwen, North Wales with family and 2 dogs. Well maintained and equipped (BBQ, hottubs) cottages and right on the river Dee, albeit fenced due to the main house being a working farm and it keeps the cattle and sheep in ! We booked with Sykes.

+ 1 for Morroch bay cottages. Stayed there a few years ago, 8 of us plus 3 dogs. The 8 berth accepts dogs but the 4 berth doesnt. Both share the same beautiful bay. And the drive off the cliff is a good chance to try out hill descent.

they have upgraded some parts of the cottage since but it still looks spot on.

The pub in Portpatrick overlooking the harbour does some beautiful food and drink too.
