Ol’yog3 faults.. progress is being made
1. Front and rear park sensors, beeeeep and flash six times, both show short to ground (or sone like that) on iid Bt.
Have unplugged front and rear looms and no difference.
Fuse is ok.
Am I looking at a new module? Or should I try harder
2. Occasional normal height only warning
Iid tool says algorithm from abs/ height sensor
And a separate code for reservoir filling too slow..
I think compressor is quite new iirc
Not heard and air leaks, more investigation
Occasional park brake flashing red triangle when I start car,
I think this just needs adjusting as it wirrs longer than I’m used to.
Just niggles, really but park sensors are doing my head in..

Re Parking sensors, what’s the code? It could be short to earth or open circuit for the code you have. If open circuit, disconnecting the looms would give you the same open circuit symptom. I think a good inspection of loom condition is required.

Title updated..
Right then progress report
M3bobby, you are indeed onto something,
I have read through paperwork from previous ownership, and it has had work on the front loom for a rubber through wire.
This is my next job (to pull off bumper)
Air suspension amber light is every journey now
Fault codes u0421-68 (28)
And c1a20-64 (6c)
Upon much reading on this site, is pointing towards a new compressor
Just need to see which one is fitted before I order one off eblag (yeah I know)
Then I’m going to hopefully refurb the one that’s on olYog3
Service due has been flashing up for a while now..
Slightly over due judging by the air filter, and no record in the paperwork in last 12months
At least chassis leg is rust protected now
That old oil comes out at bit quick, I did try to deflect it away from chassis with some card..
Didn’t work

Had cover off compressor today (bolt head snapped straight off)
So after a jizz of soapy spray
Air is pizssing out of the dryer end cap.
I’ve got a hitachi unit by looks of it,
I’ve ordered an ally cap, beads, filters n seals from eblag
And a set of mounting nuts
£51 all in p
After yesterday’s oil and filters change, car is certainly quieter, not that it was noisy anyway.
Gearchanges for some reason, are better ?
(Still having a mega flush from Bodsy when he’s free )

Hi
Good to see ur making progress , if I may add get some clear silicone plumbers grease for the large O ring inside the dryers cap, just makes life easier and will also preserve the life of the O ring
I also used some emery paper on the ends of the plastic pipe and put smear on the ends to aid the pipes going into the dryers cap , always used a plastic cutter
Did fit all new stainless steel bolts when I fitted a new compressor , including new bolts for the bottom plastic cover
Hope that doesn’t come across rude or sound s like telling u how to suck eggs

No mate
Any tips and help are always appreciated
I do indeed have a plastic cutter
I’m looking forward to removing the top bolt and pipes to remove the unit completely
My attempt on olyog1 many moons ago, saw me removing the dryer from the unit while still hanging from the pipes and resting on a block of wood.
Car is booked into Venture4x4 shipston
In a couple of weeks to sort these niggles,
Hopefully I can cancel
