Restricted performance
I am in Italy with restricted performance, I be plugged idd tool in showing no faults any help appreciated before I call breakdown company

Mine was the cross over pipe, but there are lots of other things, like cracked inlet manifold, split hose etc.

Is the performance actually restricted, or just the red triangle saying it is?

Split manifold.. .
make sure you're 'showing all faults' on the IID, you'll probably find something in there for manifold pressure..
Failing that, look at the live values for the manifold absolute pressure, if there is a large differential then thats what triggers the restricted performance. they should be pretty much the same value on both manifolds..
In my opinion it can still be driven although it is annoying, you kind of have to get a feel for it and feather the throttle as to not boost too high and trigger the restricted performance.
That's my experience anyway..

you can also have a look for any residue under the engine cover on top of the engine. you may find some wetness around the manifolds..Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black

Well thanks for reply’s I am thankful I renewed the warranty at least it should be at their expense, I am waiting for a call from Landrover assist

Didn’t seem to be but only driven a short way and turned around back to campsite as we should be towing tin hut back home tomorrow

Mine used to do it with no loss in actual performance, and it was a sensor in the fuel filter housing.
The manifold split was much more obvious with the car seriously down on power (and various fault codes)

I got a code that said it was the MAF. It wasn't, it was a split inlet manifold. £937 D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

There will be a fault stored, but you have to open a different setting to see them all.. Search for it on here and you'll find how to do it..Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black
