As you can see I have just joined the forum, however I am also a member of Rangerover.net and the rrs forum. I've had land Rovers for the last 25 years and all at them have been V8 petrol. This is my first Diesel and am just about to do a 6 monthly oil change. Because this engine does not have s dipstick is there an engine oil extraction tube? Or is the only way to do it by the sump plug method?
Regards
Garry

Yes there is an extraction point. It’s got a black plastic cap on it. I dropped it out of the sump plug though.
From recent experience... get what you can via the tube or it can go everywhere when you undo the sump plug..

Hi Gareth,
Thank you for the quick reply. Is it under the engine cover?
