A touch damp
Working from home today and just been watching the rainfall outside. According to the Met Office rainfall radar, we've just had a >32mm/hr storm pass over us. This I can believe. The surface water drains couldn't cope resulting in water discharging across the path down the side of the house. Popped out in my wellies and there was a stream of water half an inch deep, the full 3 foot across the path, flowing from the front to the back of the house. Luckily it then flowed on to the lawn. This stream was from one roof down pipe in about 10 minutes.
Never seen it like that in the 5 years we've been in this house.
Before anyone says something about working from home but paddling in my wellies - the broadband went down at the same time so I was twiddling my thumbs for a quarter of an hour anyway.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
