Radio volume !!

Hi all
For a while now the volume of the radio/ cd player in my Disco 08 SE with the logic 7 system has been about half what it was and the Dolby surround sound seems lost !!.

When it went wrong it made a sound a bit like something stuck in the heater fan so much so I even tried the fan speed controller so check it was not that. It was only playing music at a low level when this fault occurred.

I have just tried a hard re-set (shorting the battery terminals) but this has made no difference.

Has anybody had this problem or have an idea of what I could try next as it`s really bugging me now.

Regards Dave.

A fair amount of stereo problems are caused by faulty amps

Thanks for the offer Sea raider, if I can`t sort out what`s gone wrong with it then I will have to check with the local LR breakers to see if they have a logic 7 unit to try out.

Regards Dave

The logic 7 system has 14 speakers !, and it's written on a small plate mounted on the tweaters by the wing mirrors
