Have a happy Halloween ......
....... or not. May the little darlings not plague you too much and may you have lots and lots and lots of sweets left over to scoff when you declare “they’d have been here by now”, even if that is at 4:40pm.
Luckily no chance of being plagued by LDs here but the hotel did some lovely Halloween cakes.

Another pagan festival co-opted by early Christianity. And then later taken over by the money men to sell cheap tat and lots of sweets to Little Darlings.

I have got my SWMBO instructions to make up bags of stuff for the kids and to get rid of them before she comes home tonight! Might not get too many, it was minus 4 this morning.

Careful handing out ammunition, ie the tangerines. You know that’s far too healthy for today’s LDs.

You will have guessed it wasn’t me that purchased the stuff. I would have filled them full of sugar high sweets and watched them go.

Well Halloween was a great success! The pub did a happy hour for adults and gave sweets to the kids. I, of course, partook of both options - we don't have kids so I had the share of the spoils they would have had if they had existed. Seemed fair to me. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

It was like a a kids free-for-all round here last night, groups of about a dozen at a time screaming and hollering, running over gardens and down the street. Must have seen about 60-70 kids in the 100m or so of street frontage here - we don't have that many kids in the local area, they must be bussing them in
And I still think its

It is even more when no-one turns up at all. And me all ready to greet them with my own natural scarey face.
By the way - have not heard a fire-work yet. Is it really November at all?A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
