Where to plug a dashcam in?

Just invested in a new dashcam, and my question is,where to plug the power cable in. It comes with a USB plug which I was going to plug into the socket in the glove box, which is quite easy and makes a fairly neat and unobtrusive job. However, in the instruction book it says several times, do not plug anything other than audio devices into the USB socket. At the moment it’s plugged into the power socket in the centre console.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Fuse box behind the Glove Box

Products required listed below, not endorsing any of them but it is what you need to do.

I used an “Add a circuit” https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-24V-Add-a-C...SwIYpckVWo fuse tap at the fuse box behind the glovebox.

Then a 12V to 5v USB adapter https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-Converter-T...4699e232c9 This IMO is far neater and easier than using a 12v cigar socket and adapter.

which is the best fuse under the glove box to piggy back onto ?

you can buy the Nextbase kit from Hellfrauds for £20 and its an easy install.... or at least it was in a FL2

ive currently got my nextbase cable run under the trim and plugged into the socket next to the suspension/TR controls
