Nice one Dave, bit of a shock to the system D2 to D4, I did same but with a D3 inbetween, do love the look of the D2 though they still look good a freind of mine has a 04 Landmark and its still stunning, he's had it from new and it's solid, not a spot of rust anywhere.Serbian Silver 2011 Discovery 4 HSE SDV6 8 speed auto

I went from D2 to D4, completely different beasts but I do miss my old D2 and wish I'd kept it really for what I got for it at the time. So easy to work on (apart from that fuel pressure regulator!)
Enjoy D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Just had the same done here in France in a JLR stealership; 7 year service+cambelt change+lower front arms (with NO wheel aligment!)+passenger door actuator + satnav upgrade (to 2014 only!).
Total price: 4.030 euros!
But now, i'm having the suspension fault warning light from time to time...i bet it's because they didn't do the wheel alignment

Wheel alignment is pretty much a must... your tires will thank you for it.

Hi Kajtzu, i know that but the chief mechanic said my tyres were irregularly worn, although with plenty of tread, because of the bad lower control arms and for this reason, doing a wheel aligment before changing to new tyres wasn't a good idea. Incredibly, the car feels as well balanced as before but now i have suspension fault warnings. I hope it will go away when tyre are changed but lot's of lifr left in them yet.
PS: IID tool came only with these errors:
C1130-66 (2E) Air spring air supply-algorithm based failure-signal has too many transitions/events...
Hope it's not serious!
