Discovery Trims
Hello
I am researching 2012 to 2016 Disco 4 and am struggling to find a site which has a definitive list of all trims, in particular Landmark, HSE Lux and HSE Luxury to understand what is offered.
Secondly what would be the minimum trim for a Disco 4 with
Sat Nav
Heated Seats / Windscreen
Cruise Control
Headlamp Washers
and what is the winter pack option?
This will be for the UK market.
Is there anything I should look for in particular with Discos ...
Thanks

Satnav came in SE Tech but I’m not sure if it existed in 2012 so it most likely would have been a HSE that had it.
I think SE and higher had a heated windscreen, mirrors, etc.
Headlamp washers are mandatory with xenons. I think those can be upgraded to lower models but as you were really looking at HSE or higher they’ll be there. They’re not very useful, if you ask me...
No idea on winter pack. On other vehicles that’s a heated screen, seats, etc. but those should already be covered by the trim level. Perhaps a FBH?

If you intend to drive in or into cities where diesel is hated, you most likely want a Euro6 vehicle (MY16)

My 2012 plate (MY12) is an XS model with8 speed gearbox and rotary dial. It has Sat nav. Heated seats (front), heated windscreen, cruise control and headlamp wash.
It didn't come with a reverse camera, just front and rear sensors, but I retro fitted it using LR parts. Easy to do and an essential bit of kit I think for hitching up etc.
Hope that helps

2011 onwards as a basic rule of thumb
GS - no nav, manual cloth seats, no fog lights, no cruise control, no sunroofs, heated f/r screens, halogen lights
XS - nav, manual heated (p)leather seats, fog lights, cruise control, no sunroofs, heated f/r screens, halogen lights
HSE - same as XS but with folding front armrests, sunroofs, rear camera, xenon lights, time climate and other hidden features that you dont notice on a day to day basis
HSE Lux - same as HSE but with better leather, heated steering wheel and maybe a little more
Landmark - same as HSE Lux but with rear seat entertainment and different dash trim bits
2014 onwards with stop start meaning cheaper road tax and single bulb projector lights rather than separate main/dipped
SE - basically the same as GS spec
SE - tech basically the same as XS spec
HSE - same as 2011
HSE Lux - same as 2011
Graphite - SE Tech plus trim differences
Landmark - HSE Lux ++
of course factory/dealer options could have been added on, mine is 2011(61) XS spec but with reverse camera and ive had timed climate enabled and i plan to try and fit Xenon lights
all the above is just from memory so i could be slightly out but IMO they are the key feature differences.2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

I think you’ve got most of it there. I would add that my June 2015 HSE has memory seats. That wasn’t even an option on a lower spec and was important for us. It also has better leather as standard.Gary
