New here. Couple queries
Hi I'm new here and new to D4's but not new to Land Rover or Discoveries. Also own a G4 D2 and a Ninety both auto's. Just bought a 2015 D4. Couple of things I've noticed and not sure about....
1. The headlights don't have LEDs on....are they specific to spec of the vehicle I've seen older models with them....2 types....small dots and like a bar type.
2. The stop start did work when we test drove it but doesn't now even without turning it off on start up. I'm not bothered about it working as I don't like the idea of it TBH....bit old school and like to let a motor tick over for a few mins after a run to let things whined down not shut off as soon as I stop. I've read about the small battery for it but does it matter if its just left not working

Hi and welcome.
Your commercial appears to have the base spec halogen lights. An upgrade to Xenons and the signature bar led is well worth worth it. If you do buy some you'll also need to update the CCF (car config file) to tell the car you have the more powerful lights.
Re start-stop - lots of talk of it not being reliable and coming back online if you replace the start stop battery. Search function is quite good and will help on both counts.

Welcome and agree with the others, that is a great looking selection you have there.
Ref your stop start query, I’ll share my learnings and experiences:
Assuming there are no problems then there are quite a few reasons why the stop start won’t kick in, such as using significant electrical items on the car (heated seats, heated windscreen etc), engine not yet warm. The manual has a list of these. Let me know if you need a complete list.
If stop/start isn’t kicking in when it should then it’s most likely the main battery that needs a charge up but you’ll get no warning lights (unless the battery is causing other issues ) . When the small (stop/start ) battery dies you will get a warning light on the dash ‘eco stop/start not available’. This small battery just keeps electrical items running when stop/start kicks in.
Regarding allowing the car to wind down and stopping stop/start kicking in. There should be an eco button under the terrain selection switch which you can press and it will stop it kicking in. You’ll get a warning light on the dash the same as the one I mention above.
Good luck with your new car
CheersGary

Sorry just re-read your post and realised what you were actually asking ! From the experiences of others that I’ve seen shared on here about stop/start not activating, it appears it has not caused an MOT failure, if that’s what you’re asking.
CheersGary

I was just going off op's D4 profile before pics uploaded. Agreed that commercial looks to have lighting upgrade (e.g. fogs) which I thought meant xenons to .
