For almost a year now my car has had a number of faults, the main one being “Restricted Performance”.
With lockdown, I wasn’t able to take it to the Disco Doctor, so had a local garage have a look, with little success.
I finally managed to get it to Mike, and he found a large hole in an EGR pipe (amongst other issues), which he replaced. Unfortunately the boost issue returned with a vengeance, and all the diagnostics pointed to my car needing a replacement turbo.
Mike wasn’t happy with that, and continued to dig, eventually narrowing it down to a sticking/faulty TSOV.
Today I finally got my car back, following a service, MOT, and replacement TSOV. On the back of the other work Mike did, it feels like a new car.
The long and short of it is, if you want your car fixed by someone who genuinely cares, and knows these things inside out, you can’t go wrong taking it to Mike.....I wouldn’t take mine anywhere else. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

All good thanks. Been quiet over the last year, for obvious reasons.
Spending on PPE is through the roof, but fuel costs are much lower so it’s swings and roundabouts  "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
