Smoky FBH anything missing?
Hi all, 2014 hse the car is new to me but I have used the fbh timed heating once before and it was fine. The next time when I came out to the car about 5 minutes after it finished and there was a lot of smoke conning from the pipe (not exhaust ) which is I assume the intake. It just ends in a bare end is this correct or is there anything missing? Set up looks different to D3 and I was surprised to see the intake smoking. It runs very close to the plastic coolant tank too and with it being metal I wondered if it gets hot?
Thanks in advance.

Yes that is the intake, but its likely to be just residual after the hot burner has shut down.
Edit: There is a silencer fitted to the D3!yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

I agree...
And the intake does not get hot..
Note; FBH do always have to run for 10min minimum... otherwise they do become “Smokey”Best regards
