Radio issues
The infotainment screen and sound on our 2012 D4 recently started intermittently failing and we have lost DAB altogether. CDs and bluetooth music work fine. The screen and sound now appear (after 6/8 weeks) to be OK but we still have no DAB.
Dealer wants £180 for diagnostic checks which I think is ludicrous.
Is there anyone local to me (Glasgow area) who could carry out checks (for a more modest fee !) ?
Cheers
Peter

The DAB control module is a known issue, you can pick them up off ebay for around £50

Car went in to dealer today - i had called and was told that the £180 diagnostic fee wasn't payable if a valid warranty claim was made.
Sure enough it is the DAB control module that was faulty and they have ordered it and will be fitted next week under extended warranty
