Bluetooth or not bluetooth?
I have just got my iid tool and while playing with it I noticed it told me bluetooth fitted! I have a D3 SE with HK premium sound system 2006 model, but no phone cradle in arm rest, and when I press the phone button it tells me no phone fitted! So is it possible that bluetooth is fitted and if so how do I access it as I dont get asked for a pin and my iphone cant find it,or is the iid tool telling me porkies! any help would be great. I do have a bluetooth kit plugged in to the aux and that streams my music ok but the phone is a bit naff.

Do you have red and green phone buttons on the side of the steering wheel.
That is the key question.

If you have the green/red steering wheel paddles the paring code should be 2121yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

yes i do have the red/green buttons now, however I retro fitted the switch packs from a RRsport when I had a cruse control problem! thats sorted now but the original wheel had just the audio/cruise control switch packs.where would it ask for the pin code? and I assume I would input it on the key pad on head unit?

Just found the process in the manual, tried it but my phone can't find "LAND ROVER" to pair with, looks like the iid tool has picked up on the fact that I have retro fitted switch packs, or my iphone 11pro is too new for the bluetooth to pick up on?

No phone kit fitted then
Not the first time I have seen fault codes for parts that aren’t fitted!

I think the phone paddles had to be an original factory fit to the car for it to be present. Still, have a go and scan on your phone for the bt signal and see its present!! If it is click connect on the phone and then enter the pin to connect.
Edit: Pls ignore as I just saw the above posts now yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

No worries, just a bit that the iid tool told me bluetooth fitted!!!! and thanks for the advice. Short of pulling out the interior light panel to see if there is a microphone fitted in there somewhere or try to trace the module to where it should be fitted!

The mic will be fitted if you have the voice button on wheel.
Phone module is in boot behind right side panel.
But face facts. You don’t have it.

If you don’t have red and green buttons on wheel then you won’t have it

The fact whether you have the buttons is irrelevant unless you are talking about from the factory.
We have bluetooth in our D3 but I have never fitted the steering wheel buttons and it works perfectly fine so you cannot assume no buttons to mean no bluetooth.
@andy-p where are you seeing that you have bluetooth fitted? If it's in the CCF settings then it doesn't mean you have it. Anyone with an IID can enable that setting even if the module isn't thereIID PRO
