Thinking of getting a Nextbase 422g dashcam along with the compatable rear cam for my 2012 D4
I have heard some reports of issues with the DAB radio following installation of dash cams particularly rear ones near the DAB antenna which I believe is in the rear side glass panels (look like a heating element )
Has anyone got the above combination on a D4 or can confirm if there will be an issue with the DAB radio
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
I have a NextBase and rear camera fitted in my D4 and I can't say that it has affected my DAB signal. I have mine powered from the fuse box not the 12v AUX.
I do find that I'm likely to lose DAB signal if the rear heated screen is on and also some plug in mobile chargers cause drop outs too. This may be because some elements in my rear screen are damaged. Repairing this is on a very long lists of to do jobs (most are not on the D4 though).
Regards,
Steve

It can be effected by your cable location. As above, spur of your fuse box in the glove box using an ignition live. Then you need to look at how you run your cables to avoid interference. Save your money, Next Base are a load of rubbish, Cheap import cameras with a brand name due to marketing. Get yourself a Blackvue. D4 MY10 - SOLD Thanks to ULEZ!
