D3 stereo repairs?

Anyone on here repair stereos? Mine is bust. Phone system only it says on it. No output no functions on off switch doing nothing. Volume control will alter the phone volumes.
Used ones are silly money from dealers.

It could be the amplifier at fault.
If you use the search function its been covered a couple of times before.

Did you try pulling the fuse out for a few
Minutes. ?

Unplug the phone .ecu?

I tried a hard reset at the weekend. Not done any fuse checking as the phone light/ message works and there are lights on the unit with the car lights on. No idea where the phone ECU is? Had the cable out of the amp at the weekend. Gave it a waggle as you do... Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

there is a fix for this issue.

You remove the fuse for a minute or two. and reinsert.

The phone ecu is in the boot, on the right hand side
