I put on an OEM one on mine from Rimmers

Didn’t fancy having a problem with such a vital bit of kit
 Must stop buying shiny toys....

When you say "collapsed", are you talking centre bearing or are you talking the universal spicer joints on each end.
If centre bearing has collapsed, it can be replaced, if the universals are gone, then replace shaft.

Personally I would recommend fitting a complete GKN, (OEM) propshaft as even at 80k miles I found the universal and constant velocity joints notchy.
This is probably an item to buy from an established supplier rather than eBay to ensure that you get what you pay for.
If I did the job again I would probably not replace the 6 front mounting bolts, (certainly not with LR bolts at almost £4 or more each), or the C shaped washers. I would replace the rear mounting bolts.
A GKN propshaft is about £270 Inc vat.

Centre bearings are available separately. GKN bearings are about £60. Replacement of the bearing is not to my mind straight forward as it requires dismantling and subsequent reassembly and resealing of the constant velocity joint. There is at least 1Utube video on doing the job. Some people on the forum have replaced the bearing with mixed results.
The joints are not repairable.

Some members have successfully repaired the rubber of the central bearing with Sikaflex although whether they have achieved this without removing the propshaft, I do not know.

If you do remove your propshaft for repair or fit a replacement it must be supported until installed. A replacement will be supplied mounted on a wooden support which is best left in place until at least some of the mounting bolts are fitted.

Good luck

John

Thanks all, I'm going to leave to mechanic to sort as I really can't afford for car to be off the road for more than a few hours being honest.
Hopefully it will be relatively painless 😊
