Clicking and now mirrors and seat stopped

Selected reverse and the auto dip on the mirrors juddered to show the kerb, thought it just needed some WD40, but when I set off forward I get a clicking from under the steering wheel, and the memory buttons don't work. If I try and manually adjust the seat the movements are similar to the mirror. Very jumpy and in time with the clicking?

I have left the car to sleep, but Anyone have any ideas

Strange one, left the car to sleep but stayed in side, and the clicking continued until the car went to sleep then stopped and has been fine since.

Hope its just a relay on the way out if it happens again.

Any chance you have run out of mirror travel (usually happens for people with their seats towards the forward limit)?

Yeah sure nothing had changed with the seats / mirrors. It was strange, everything was in the normal position but when I changed anything it juddered - but the clicking continued even if nothing was moved.

But the good old Disco has fixed its self Smile

I've had this twice. Several months apart and nothing now for over a year. I put it down to sticky relay you can feel the click in the ecu type box under the drivers seat. Question Yawn

Yep, I’ve just had this too. So glad to hear you both didn’t have any further issues. I’ll check mine tomorrow. Cheers all!! 👍
