OBD Code Reader?

My understanding is the GAP IID is not compatible with a D5....?
What code readers are? Just something for the glovebox etc.

I have not heard, nor read, of one. Au contraire DM & others have, IIRC, indicated that none is yet available.

I would have thought any ODB II reader would "read" the D5 error codes, but as yet there isnt anything with which you can edit any of the onboard settings/configs.

The only true fault reader currently on the market is JLR Pathfinder.

Gap IID will read certain DTC codes and reset them but for example I recently plugged in a IID Tool and it found 4 DTC's, I plugged in Pathfinder into the same vehicle and it found 11 DTC's.

All JLR products from 2017 use DOIP platform for diagnostics which is different to the standard OBD II as used on earlier vehicles, hence the compatibility issues.
