Nice. What part number did you use for the start button? Was it plug and play?

Worth an upgrade when the old button is worn and needs replacing!

Its a range rove evoque start button, prefer the dish in look.

The steering wheel adjuster is from a range rover sport.

I did the start button mod in my sport but switched back (pardon the pun) as it needed modifying and still didn’t fit well. Looks much better in the disco than the sport.

Looks good. Is the start button made of the same (poor) quality materials as the disco one or does it look like it will last a few starts before wearing. Does it still light up? Also I looked at doing this but the trim around it seems difficult to get off and I didn’t want to damage the air vent etc and tips please?
Cheers.

The unit just pops out and uses the same plug connector. They’re all pretty much the same with some minor key way differences for different vehicles. I’d imagine even the ford power buttons would be a direct swop.

Ok so you don’t need the surrounding trim off? The switch is just levered out on its own and replaced?

Yes, start switch just needs a slight trim to fit but it’s no drama.
Lights up as original, made from the same stuff tho.
And the knob is for the steering adjustment yes.

I tentatively tried to lever it but didn’t want to break it and a screwdriver behind may mark the dash !Any knack?
