Three Defining Lines - corporate b*******ks
Anyone else received a really thick envelope from Land Rover recently??
Was all excited to open it thinking it was something exciting....alas
What a load of old merde...it’s a pamphlet held together with elastic bands and droning on on how good the current car design is..big piece with McGovern bigging himself up...
Straight in the bin...really disappointed...must have cost a fortune to print and produce then post out...would have preferred the money to have been spent on more burgers in the hospitality suites!

I’m starting to question it! He’s lost the plot and has obviously got a tube blowing smoke up his own @rse!
It’s a pointless and worthless thing...and although not a hippy tree hugger type I’m starting to question the carbon footprint that it cost to produce...

Of course he thinks he can do no wrong, you lot keep buying “his” design masterpieces.
Forget the carbon footprint, question the cost. After all, you lot (the LR customer) are paying for it.

Maybe is because I only drive a D3 but, I don't understand that at all.

The three lines represent the roof line, the top line of the body and the bottom line of the body of the Range Rover family. You can sort of see where they're coming from if you look at the four models in side view:

Only 3, they don’t represent each model, it’s as RRSTDV8 says, roofline, windowline and bottom.

Highlighting the offset perfection of the rear end. Surprised you didn’t see that one, but there again, some people haven’t evolved sufficiently apparently.

Presumably that's why they mention Range Rover on the page - trying to prevent people evolving to preferring ugliness. If they do, they might move to a different brand.
