Hi All
I've ordered a new Disco which will be delivered in August. I have a couple of kids and need shade for the side windows.
The Aussie sun is fairly harsh, and there are strict rules about how dark any tinting can be on the windows, even rears (some people have reported their new cars with factory privacy glass have been defected, hence Landrover Australia's decision not to offer privacy glass as an option).
I've seen and used both the "Window Sox" and the other type with straps. Both however sit both inside and outside the window, which looks pants from the outside, flaps around at speed, and fade quickly in the sun and look even worse.
I see that Volvo offers an OEM product which is a "sprung" shade that sits within the window opening, which looks very neat from the inside and is not visible from the outside. I can't find a similar offering from LR.
Does anyone know of a company that offers a similar custom fit product?
Any help appreciated.
