Black 6 spoke spares
The black 6 spoke spares off the RRS, are these the same wheel as the HSE D3 uses in silver?
Rated at 940kg per corner? Thought I might go for 4 black alloys for snow tyres for next year's adventures.
Yes, same rim, though as they're only intended for use as spares I don't think the paint job isn't particularly resilient so you may want to get them powder coatedThe End
As Si says, i belevie it was mentioned that they may scratch a bit quicker than powder coated ones but still at the price... TLO has left the building.......

The Black wheels look 8) on Black or Buck Blue (or white )
As has been said, the paint quality isn't as good as you'd normally expect, but they're not scratching much with normal & off road use (so far). I have protected them with some JetSeal109 and some wax which I think helps, but then I haven't cleaned it for two months so who knows what's lurking under the grime now..... Bodsys Brake Bible

Would anyone in the Surrey area be able to pick up 3 black RRS spare alloys from AJS in Lower Kingswood and stick them in a shed or garage until I could get them North?
I heard VA mention that he had a spacious shed.........
Think it was circ 16th century and there was bits falling off it, but it would probably be ok for storing wheels in...... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

OK, as long as no one nicks my black alloys, AJStyres also have 5 HSE 6 spokes off a LRE vehicle. £35 each but will need refurbished.
Where about are these AJS tyres refurbing wheel I could do.
