American British Concept, what are they doing these days?
I have seen descriptions of their Bluetooth module on this forum and Have tried contacting them without any success so far.
Does anybody now if they are still operating and what’s the best way to reach them?
Thanks a lot for you help.
Regards
Philippe

I bought one of their Bluetooth modules about 9 months ago. It took a while to arrive and then worked perfectly.
Maybe they are on holiday as I got the impression that it was a one-man business.
They were very food for me.... I can highly recommend their device.

Contacting them is quite difficult. I think the business has taken off and he (Brad) is up to his neck!

I think the problem might be that you have the name wrong they are not "American British Concept"; I think the correct name is "British American Concepts Ltd" - note Britain comes first (Quite correct )

Missed opportunity here. ABC is far easier to remember than BAC!
I did contact them via messenger last week and still haven't heard a thing. Is there any phone number I can use?

They haven't yet replied to my message. No doubt if I send a PayPal payment they'll get back to me. But I still wanted to ask them about the availability of their BT modules. Let's try my luck then!

Ok, I've taken the plunge and ordered their BT module and paid on-line. I haven't received any order confirmation by e-mail nor did they answer my questions on Facebook.
Are they still doing business? Am I likely to see a product showing up at my door one day?
Even for a one man business, this can't be right, can it?

As you’re in the EU, EU consumer law applies even if the seller is non-EU (with some assumptions like they’ve advertised to you, etc.) so:
- you’re supposed to get an order confirmation
- delivery date needs to be less than 30 days from ordering unless something else has been agreed on
- distance sale rules
- etc.
Anyway, if you don’t hear anything revert the sale through PayPal or the credit card company.
Similar things have happened closer, too, for some who ordered certain baskets to their vehicles..

Depends on your legislature, I guess, and whatever is being hashed out in Brussels today/tomorrow (?) but we “in” EU will continue to have it

He never replies, but will eventually send the item.
I never received a receipt or anything, I did get a tracking number after a few weeks, the item then spent 2 weeks going from place to place in Miami, and eventually arrived!
I never got a reply via Facebook either.

In theory yes as Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies to anybody who sells into the UK and that isnt going to change, but as now enforcing your rights isn't so easy particularly if dealing with smaller companies and note it only applies to companies that actively sell into the UK/EU.==================================

Ok, I have just received a shipment confirmation in my mailbox, with the required tracking number.
Strange that customer communication is kept to the bare minimum. Especially coming from a US based operation. I wouldn't do it the same way.
But all seems good now and the BT module is on its way.

LRBT-1
I am looking to get one of these units in that the 2005 LR3 SE has no BT. I have tried alot of cheap options and all end up in frustration.
I am going to order but wanted to ask if the only microphone that will work is their model? (It is currently on backorder due to testing with other models?).
Does it need the microphone? Or will the phone's microphone work and their mic is only needed for better performance?
Last question: Will I have to use the aux input for sound (output) or does it plumb into the stereo system speakers without the need for the aux jack?
I hear their Customer service is not good as far as answering questions so that is why I am asking. Any help would be great.2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic
