[Sold] 2005 55 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE manual £3,995 NOW SOLD
Ad ref Order No: 200609-401
Discovery 3 2.7 TDV6 SE Manual for sale, cherished vehicle, very well maintained.
2005 55, 4 previous owners, 189,000 miles
We've owned this vehicle for over four years apart from a brief period when we sold it to a friend, before realising our mistake and buying it back. The V5 says 5 previous owners, but really it's four, with our friend being one of them. We've loved every minute of ownership and fully intended to keep the car until we got a chance of a D4 at a bargain price which we couldn't ignore.
So, this is our much-loved Discovery 3. It's an SE with extras which take it to HSE spec, with a 6 speed manual gearbox. Bonatti grey with cream leather interior
Disco 4 upgrades, 20" Range Rover butterfly wheels, D4 rear bumper, D4 rear lights, full length silver roof rails, 2015 D4-style grille, blacked out windows, body colour arches, front & rear bumper, boot panel and door handles, chrome door mirrors, clear front and side indicators
Big brake upgrade front and back
Parrot telephone kit with USB playback through the Harmon Kardon stereo.
Full length electric sunroof
Towbar with twin electrics
Side running boards
Mudflaps
Electric front seats with drivers memory & interior in extremely good condition
Heated seats front and rear
Sat nav with updated disc
Rubber mats throughout
New parts since we've owned it:
Four new air struts
New lower front, lower rear and upper rear wishbones
New injectors (£1250)
New in-tank lift pump
Completely new handbrake system - shoes, module, cables, drums etc £1350
New spare wheel winch
Cambelt and fuel pump belt changed 6 months ago
New steering rack
New propshaft section
New Osram nightbreaker HID bulbs
New sunroof drain tubes and outlets (common problem)
Turbo actuator maintained and kept free
Also new air pump for suspension fitted just before we bought it.
The engine is sweet and pulls well, burning no oil. Capable of 34mpg on a run. Tyres are Pirelli Scorpions.
Car was serviced at the end of last year with a brake fluid service and gear oils done too. Everything works as it should on the car, it is quiet, smooth and very capable, and looks great too - one of the nicest D3s in my opinion.
We had the car registered as H11 BGY, but will sell it with J50 OAY included.
Please message me if you would like to view. We are in Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, close to the M62.
Asking price is £3,995
by bank transfer

genuine interest in Disco3...
hi Biggy
I've literally just joined the forum to contact you regarding your Disco3 for sale. I've been lurking without joining for a while as my interest in a D3 has increased. I'm not too sure of the forum rules as yet but are you able to PM me to discuss the car, I'm just outside Glasgow and would like to chat about the car before making any arrangements to travel to you... cheers cheers, Steven.
